Hamerkop Safaris and Tours limited derives it’s unique and meaningful name from the Bible story of Moses and Aaron who led the Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land but only Aaron (Hamerkop) was chanced to reach the promised land.
Hamerkop Safaris, being a nature and eco friendly company, derives its totem from the Aralia Rattlesnake plant spp, the tree from which Moses’ walking stick was extracted. Moses handed over to Aaron (Hamerkop) the walking stick and the responsibility to lead the Israelites to the promise land. Aaron took the challenge.
